The training provides an understanding of the regulatory requirements for pipeline transportation of natural gas, hazardous liquids, and requirements for drug and alcohol testing. By completing this course, individuals will be equipped with the knowledge necessary to comply with the relevant regulations, as well as to manage and maintain safe and efficient pipeline operations.
In-depth training on how to assess the competency of individuals working in the pipeline industry to become qualified, as per the Operator Qualification Rule. Upon successful completion of the course, individuals will become authorized Evaluators and be able to perform evaluations in accordance with the Veriforce policies and procedures, covering topics such as evaluation criteria, evaluation methods, span of control, and documentation requirements.
Veriforce Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) conduct on-site evaluations to assess compliance with Operator Qualification and Drug and Alcohol regulatory requirements. This includes in-person interviews with qualified personnel, Drug Employee Representatives (DER), and other relevant staff. The assessment involves a comprehensive review of OQ records and documentation, including D&A plans, along with an inspection of program implementation to ensure adherence to applicable regulations. Any identified findings or observations from this regulatory field assessment will be documented in a final report, which will be shared upon the assessment’s completion.
