Veriforce Launches New Hazard Communication (Hazcom) Training for revised OSHA Hazard Communication Standard December 1, 2013 Deadline

HOUSTON, TEXAS – July 22, 2013 – Veriforce launches New Hazard Communication (Hazcom) training for revised OSHA Hazard Communication Standard.

“Veriforce provides the training that is needed for the December 1, 2013 deadline of the Revised Hazard Communication Standard (HCS). We provide a solid solution for training and easy access of documents, records, and resources for Operators and Contractors in the energy industry,” said President of Veriforce, Louie Werderich.

OSHA revised its Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) to align with the United Nations’ Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) and published it in the Federal Register in March 2012 (77 FR 17574). Two significant changes contained in the revised standard require the use of new labeling elements and a standardized format for Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), formerly known as, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs).

To help companies comply with the revised standard, Veriforce offers online OSHA Hazcom Training that is self-paced, interactive, and measurable through our Hosted Training System. Veriforce Hosted Training System allows you instant access (24/7) to assign employees courses, track their progress, and access to records for OSHA Safety Training and OSHA Audits.

Veriforce offers a full library of OSHA training courses that are available in both English and Spanish.

“Veriforce’s commitment to providing quality safety training is unparalleled in the industry, going far beyond the standard safety training programs. Developing extensive safety training programs that produce results and contribute to the safety of workers and the environment is a priority at Veriforce,” stated Werderich.
