Safe Driver – Train the Trainer – Instructor Led Distance Training (ILDT) November 22, 2024

Safe Driver is a training program that addresses the distressing record of serious injury and fatality crashes involving personal and light-duty company vehicles in the oil and gas exploration and production industry. The program combines four hours of instructor-led classroom instruction with a hands-on application component to equip oil and gas industry drivers with the knowledge and skills to operate vehicles safely in challenging environments. Students will learn about industry-specific hazards, defensive driving techniques, vehicle monitoring systems, standard company policies, and emergency response protocols. The program’s goal is to ensure that drivers are well-prepared to navigate the unique challenges of the oil and gas industry while prioritizing safety at all times.
